Today’s challenge focuses on the benefit of maintaining a public, interactive professional profile and mastering the ability to sell your own data expertise. To test their adaptability, they must choose the opposite visualisation tool compared to what they used yesterday. If they used Tableau yesterday, today is a Power BI day (and vice versa). There is no pre-made dataset provided today; they must architect their own.
Task
- Create your own professional dataset: Manually structure your career history, skills proficiency, and project metrics into a clean, tabular format.
- Build a visual portfolio dashboard: Create an interactive personal profile using the opposite BI platform to yesterday.
- Publish to the cloud: Upload the final piece to Tableau Public or Power BI Service (and embed it into the daily blog post).
- Document: Write a blog post on the full process of Data Creation to design to build.
- Presentations will be at 3:30 pm.
