Meet and Greets are the fastest way to understand The Data School

If you are thinking about applying to The Data School, I think our meet and greets are the best first step. You can read blogs and scroll LinkedIn for hours, but there's no replacement for coming in person, seeing a couple of live demos, and chatting to people who are currently in training or already out on placement. You leave with a much clearer picture of what the job actually involves, and what it takes to get an offer. Most people in The Data School came to a meet and greet first, as it gives you a great opportunity to meet the people who will be making the decision on whether you have what it takes (plus there's free pizza!).

After just my fifth week at The Data School, I got the chance to stand up and demo Tableau to a room of about 30 people at the meet and greet. It was a real “thrown in at the deep end” moment but in an amazing way, and it says a lot about the culture here that new starters are trusted to represent the company so early.

The biggest value is the conversations afterwards. People ask us questions that we're happy to answer: how the application is structured, what you should focus on in your first Tableau projects, or just how to get started.

If that sounds good, make sure to come to our next meet and greet on April 7th. I will be MCing and around to chat afterwards! Sign up link below:
