Drag and Drop Data | Alteryx Tiny Tip

Tired of navigating through your awful file directories each time you want to input data into Alteryx?
Main → Temp → Final → Final_Final → Data → DontDeleteMe.yxdb
Or maybe you need to add 30 different files in one directory. This one is for you.

I found this very useful in the setting of an Alteryx Certification exam as you can quickly add your data and get the answers.

If you have the file directory open (i.e. file explorer) then you can simply drag and drop the file into Alteryx. Simples. It creates and configures the input tool for you.

One file

Many files at once
