Vivien is a data analytics consultant who leverages her background in instrumental education to explain complex concepts and deliver clear, actionable insights. Her experience teaching piano, violin, and music theory to students of all ages has shaped her strong communication and problem-solving skills. Before this, she graduated with a degree in Music and Business Management from the University of Southampton, where she combined her passion for music with business insight, developing analytical skills and the ability to approach problems with creativity and structure.
Vivien has thrived in the collaborative and hands-on environment, where she has created Power BI dashboards to analyse operator inefficiencies in the transport industry and worked with Tableau partner companies to learn their software and showcase their capabilities.
Building on her teaching background, Vivien has delivered Tableau training sessions to the public, enabling them to confidently understand and translate data into visualisations. Additionally, she has acted as the project manager for a client in the employment industry, where she helped define and develop key metrics to provide meaningful insight into the health and performance of the private sector.
Outside of work, Vivien enjoys creative hobbies and practising her musical instruments in her free time. She also loves baking and experimenting with new recipes, bringing the same curiosity and attention to detail to her personal projects as she does to her professional work.
