Roshan is a curious and analytical problem solver who enjoys turning data into clear, actionable insight. With a background in Research and Behavioural Science, he was drawn to roles that combine analytical thinking, storytelling, and continuous learning, making data consultancy a natural fit.
He first developed his interest in data during his studies at the University of Nottingham, where he explored quantitative research methods across Neuroscience and Behavioural Science Modules. Through academic research, dissertations, and project work, he discovered how much he enjoyed uncovering patterns in data and communicating findings in a way that could support real decision-making.
Before joining The Data School, Roshan worked as a Research Assistant at the University of Nottingham, where he led and supported projects involving data analysis, reporting, stakeholder communication, and evidence-based recommendations. This experience strengthened his ability to work with complex information, translate findings for different audiences, and approach problems with both structure and creativity.
At The Data School, Roshan has continued building his skills in Tableau, Power BI, and data preparation, while developing a stronger understanding of dashboard design, data storytelling, and consultancy-style problem solving. He is particularly interested in creating visuals that are not only insightful, but also intuitive and engaging for end users.
Outside of work, Roshan is passionate about Pádel, playing the guitar, and learning Spanish - usually in that order.
