When it comes to data visualisation, Faith believes that beauty is not a frill—it’s what lures people in and invites them to dig deeper and engage with the underlying information. In her work, she strives to create data visualisations that are not only supported by rigorous analysis, but are also visually appealing. This combination is crucial because beauty without insight can be misleading, and insight without beauty is unremarkable.
After graduating from Dartmouth College with an Economics degree, Faith began her career as a Product Lead at a global non-profit organization. There, her exposure to data analytics and UX/UI design sparked her interest in visual storytelling through data. She joined The Data School to further develop her expertise in a collaborative environment where she could both learn and share knowledge while delivering creative, analytical solutions for clients.
At The Data School, Faith has worked with clients spanning diverse sectors: high-end retail brands, major transportation networks, financial services, and telecommunications. Her key achievements include:
Reporting & Dashboards: Currently defining key metrics and standardizing reporting; building Tableau dashboards to track website performance, making it easier for stakeholders to monitor business goals
Training & Upskilling: Designed and led a Tableau & Tableau Prep training for 350 colleagues, delivering 2,500 learning hours. Multiple trained colleagues progressed to become internal trainers, expanding the program's impact
Program Development: Built the Tableau Skills Accelerator, a self-paced course that taught technical and visualization skills to 1,500 staff members, saving the company 150 workdays annually
Community Building: Founded a Data Book Club to cultivate a dynamic BI community. A highlight was hosting Alberto Cairo, author of "How Charts Lie," for a discussion that drew 95 people and earned a 4.8/5 rating
Outside of work, Faith enjoys practising her street photography, dancing, and hot yoga.
