Durkka is a highly motivated, aspiring data consultant, focused on mastering the art of transforming data into clear, actionable insights.
She comes from a quantitative background, having completed a bachelor's degree in Mathematics followed by a master’s with distinction in Data Science. Although her interest in data continued to grow, she realised something was missing. Through customer-facing roles in the retail sector, she developed strong interpersonal skills, while also working closely with diverse teams to foster productive, professional relationships. This experience reinforced her belief that real impact is driven by people. She wanted a role that combines the human element with data, bringing her to The Data School.
Durkka values balance, and recognises that good rest is key to productive work. Outside of data, she enjoys playing the piano, going on long walks, swimming and baking (sometimes not with the end product she was hoping for!).
