Connie Koo is a data analyst with an interest in environmentalism. Before joining the data school, she worked at an environmental consultancy that specialized in lead, asbestos, and mold abatement. She found herself getting more involved with data when she started conducting waste audits across the city to collect data on waste streams. Connie became enthralled with data when she saw how the figures on a spreadsheet could generate insights and simplify complex issues. After completing a data apprenticeship at COOP, Connie joined the Data School because she saw the value in creating data visualizations that aid people in seeing data intuitively and memorably. In free time, Connie likes to compost, garden, read, and hike.
