Carla is a Data Analytics Consultant at The Information Lab, who is passionate about understanding how the past shapes the present. This interest continued through her studies at the City College of New York, where she studied History and Biology.
Before attending the Data School, she worked in retail, where she refined her ability to address customer needs and use data to forecast demand. She became interested in the behind-the-scenes decision-making of businesses, which sparked her journey into data analytics.
This curiosity led her to apply to the La Guardia Data Analytics Program where she was introduced to programs such as SQL, Python, and Tableau. Eager to learn more, she later applied to the Data School.
Outside of the office, Carla enjoys traveling, gardening, and going on nature walks.
