Amelia is a Data Analytics Consultant with a background in Mathematical Modelling, specialising in translating complex data into clear, actionable insights. 

She holds a BSc in Mathematics from the University of Southampton, where she applied Logistic Regression to predictive health outcomes. Her technical expertise spans data transformation, visualisation, and business intelligence, utilising tools such as: Tableau Prep, Power Query, Alteryx, SQL, Power BI, Tableau Desktop, and Snowflake. Drawing on a diverse professional background across retail, education, and hospitality, Amelia excels at bridging the gap between technical data architectures and stakeholders. 

Her recent engagements highlight her versatility across project management, data transformation, and business intelligence:

  • Tableau Desktop Enablement: Led a public training workshop on Tableau Desktop, teaching fundamental data visualisation principles and best practices to help a varied audience build high-impact visuals. 

  • Healthcare Analytics & Team Leadership: Acted as Project Manager for a nationwide care provider, leading a team of six analytics consultants. Managed client scope changes transparently while ensuring all technical deliverables aligned with strategic project milestones.

  • Data Deduplication: Worked as part of a team on a data quality initiative for a nationwide Top Tier law firm using Alteryx. Designed advanced workflows featuring fuzzy matching algorithms to identify and merge duplicate records across large datasets, and authored comprehensive technical documentation to streamline ongoing internal onboarding.

  • Feature Migration: Translated complex functionality between Tableau workbooks and Power BI using specialised extensions such as SuperTables.

  • Modern AI Integration: Built custom AI agents directly within Snowflake, making advanced machine learning capabilities accessible and actionable for operational teams.
